Simone
Biles' fame started in 2013 when she won her two World Championship golds, including the title of All-around. In 2014, Biles won four Worlds championships, and another four in 2015. Rio 2016 was her first Olympics. In the year before Biles already had become an Olympian of the moment. Biles didn't let us down: She won the gold medals for all-around as well as teams, and also the vault floor, beam and vault. Her supremacy is based on an utter mastery of gymnastic basics: with a tiny 4 foot 8 frame, astonishing strength and athleticism, plus a low centre of gravity, she's made to be a top gymnast. Because of her extraordinary dedication to her sport, the capacity to think and have a personality that's powerful, she's nearly unbeatable.
