Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - is a Canadian as well as an American artist and singer. There are more than 20 albums that have been released by her. DiFranco's music has been classified as folk-rock and alternative rock although it includes influences from punk funk hip music and jazz. Ani Difranco is considered as a feminist icon as well as a Grammy award winner. In the beginning, as one of the women's first artists of the 1990s, DiFranco created her own record label. DiFranco was the child of Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They were introduced in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
