Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is well-known American cook book writer and Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002 and has aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina began her career by working for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy reports. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual rigors of her job, but soon lost interest. Instead she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty restaurant. After nearly 18 years of making the business a massive success, she decided to sell it and started creating her first novel. A number of magazines and cookbooks were later published. Meanwhile her Food Network television show too was launched and quickly became an instant hit. In addition, she sells a variety of products ranging from cooking supplies as well as storage containers and equipment. Ina has never attended any cookery schools nor was she employed in a dining establishment. She is entirely self-taught. Ina is well-known as an easy cook, and also for her entertaining style. The most well-known recipes she has created are Lemon chicken skeillet-roasted and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
