Zoe-perry
Perry is the daughter of actor Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. Perry made her debut in television shows as Jackie Harris, a character that was played by her mother on her role on the ABC comedy Roseanne. Her parents did not allow her to perform by her parents until she reached an adulthood stage, because they were concerned about the anxiety it could create. Perry claimed that she was too timid to perform in high school but began doing shows at Northwestern University as a way to meet new people after she transferred from Boston University. Perry was a graduate of Boston University moved into New York in search of TV roles. Perry was able to land small roles on TV shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homelessness led her to California to find theater work. The Other Place was performed by her and her mom on Broadway in 2013. The show was directed by Eugene O'Neill. Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie as well as Kevin McKidd. This was staged in the West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. Perry appeared nine times in The Family, an ABC thriller The Family, in 2016. Perry was a regular character in the ABC drama about politics Scandal which starred her father. In addition, she played her older Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon which was a CBS spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. The character was chosen via auditions having a strong association with it.
